Troy Leininger

I grew up on a farm near Ayrshire, Iowa and graduated from Ruthven-Ayrshire High School in 1988. I attended Grandview College in Des Moines where I graduated with a B.A. degree in 1992. Also in 1992, I married my high school sweetheart, Karyn. From 1991 to the spring of 1995, I worked in Des Moines at WHO-AM and KLYF Radio. In the spring of 1995, we moved back home to northwest Iowa to start a career in radio sales and marketing at the stations.

Living in Spencer also let me help my father on the farm from time to time. In January 2001, I moved into the KICD Farm Department but still do some sales for all 3 stations.  I enjoy many church activities, my family (yes even the in-laws), antique farm tractors, a good joke and working with my fellow employees at KICD-AM, CD 107.7 & MORE 104.9.
