Arts on Grand in Spencer, Iowa is very pleased to announce that the annual Iowa Artist Show will be held in the Gallery on April 17, 2010 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event is free and open to the public.The twelve regions in Iowa each hold a one day show once a year. The award winning artwork is then represented in a state wide show on May 8,2010 in Fairfield, Iowa. A variety of art is brought in for the day to be judged, and critiqued. The event is a great way for artists in Iowa to get more public exposure and interact with other artists from the region. It is also a great way for the public to see artwork from around the area, which includes Lyon, Dickenson, Osceola, Emmet, Sioux, O’Brien, Clay and Palo Alto counties.
