Spencer, IA (KICD)--Three people were life flighted from Spencer after a two vehicle head on collision south of Spencer this [Friday] morning.
Clay County deputies say a car driven by 32 year old Jaqueline Larson of Milford collided with another car driven by 33 year old Salvador Garcia of Cherokee.
Spencer firefighters, State Troopers, Royal Fire and Rescue Spencer police and Spencer Hospital ambulance crews were all called to the scene.
The accident happened in the 3800 block of Highway 71 around 11:15 AM.
Larson, Garcia and his wife Alejandrina were taken to the Spencer Hospital by ambulance and then flown to other facilities.
Sheriff's officers say they're still investigating the accident and charges are pending.
