Dan Skelton

As Farm Director for the KICD stations, I'm responsible for reporting the latest news of agriculture to our listeners. I stay on top of issues ranging from structural changes in the American livestock industry, to genetic engineering of crops and livestock, as well as the latest agricultural news from Washington and the effect it will have on the local farm community.

I was born and raised on a farm near Sioux Rapids. My wife and I own and operate that farm today, and it's where we chose to raise our four children. I'm the only farmer on staff at KICD and that gives me a better understanding of what matters most to our listeners in the area of agriculture.

My goal with KICD is to broadcast timely market news and information that will help the listener make the best decisions for their own operation.
