Graettinger, IA (KICD) -- Three people were injured in an assault incident.

On Monday, the Palo Alto County Sheriffs Office responded to a reported assault, in Graettinger. Upon arrival, it was determined three were involved. 57-year old Timothy Shultz of Graettinger was taken by ambulance to Palo Alto County Hospital, for injuries received during the altercation.

He was later arrested and charged with one count each of Serious Assault and Aggravated Assault and was jailed. Two other victims of the assault received minor injuries, but declined medical attention.

Spencer, IA (KICD)--A Spencer teen has been arrested for making a pair of false reports to local law enforcement.

Spencer Police say a 15-year-old made a call to them and to Storm Lake Police by the way of a 3rd party interpreter . In each of the cases the information indicated an emergency taking place with a false abduction report filed.

After investigation the teen was charged with two counts of making false reports. The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent.

Orange City, IA (KICD)--A Le Mars woman was taken to the hospital following an midnight hour accident on Monday morning just south of Orange City.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Kaitlin Tritz lost control of her southbound 1993 Buick LeSabre on Jackson Avenue at 12:15 a.m. The car entered the west ditch and came to rest in a creek bed.

Tritz was taken to the Orange City Hospital by the Orange City Ambulance for treatment of minorinjuries.

Sheldon, IA (KICD)--A burglary attempt at a home in rural Sheldon was thwarted by a security system.

Sometime Saturday night or Sunday morning someone gained entry by damaging a door. Once inside, they were turned away by a security system. A security camera on the outside of the house was taken.
