Storm Lake, IA (KICD) -- A Pomeroy man received possible injuries after a single vehicle accident.
The Buena Vista County Sheriffs Office said the accident occurred Friday morning, as 63-year old Alan Wykoff was driving a 2004 Chevy SUV eastbound on Highway 7, near Newell.
According to the sheriffs report, Wykoff told authorities he became light headed, and the SUV started swerving, then striking a bridge, going off the road into the ditch and going through a fence. Wykoff stated he didn't recall hitting the bridge, but saw the barbed wire go up over the hood of the vehicle. Wykoff believed he blacked out prior to the accident.,
Wykoff was transported to Buena Vista Regional Medical Center by ambulance for possible injuries. The SUV received about $3500 in damage, while damage to the bridge was estimated at $1000, and $500 damage was done to the fence.
Storm Lake, IA (KICD) -- A Fonda man is injured after a single vehicle rollover.
The Buena Vista County Sheriffs Office said around 8:30 Tuesday morning, 23-year old Joshua Sanchez was driving a 2001 Jeep northbound on Highway 71, when he lost control on the icy roadway, near the intersection with 130th Avenue. The Jeep then went into the east ditch rolling over and coming to rest upright.
Sanchez complained of left arm pain, and was examined on scene by a paramedic, but refused to be transported to a hospital. The Jeep sustained about $500 in damage.
Spencer, IA (KICD)--A Royal woman was jailed early Saturday morning.
42-year-old Debra Bobzien was charged with possession of marijuana and public intoxication by Spencer Police.
Bobzien was booked into Clay County jail.

Early this (Wednesday) morning it was found that once inside the suspects stole cash & checks that were in Jump Rope for Heart envelopes and also raffle tickets.
