Jackson, MN (KICD) -- A building is damaged after the collision of two trucks.
The Jackson County Sheriffs Office said the accident occurred shortly before noon last Wednesday, as a 1996 Ford truck, owned by the city , and driven by 37-year old Jared Spaeth, was making a left hand turn into the Jackson City Shop.
While making the turn, the truck was rear-ended by a 2000 International Straight Truck, owned by Nestle Transportation Co, and driven by 47-year old Brian DeRuyter of Sioux Falls, causing the Ford to travel east, striking the Farm RX building.
Spaeth was taken to Sanford Jackson Medical Center by city employees, and was treated for injuries. DeRuyter wasn't injured in the crash.
Both vehicles along with the building received moderate damage.
