Highway 86 Accident



Lakefield, MN (KICD) -- Three people are injured after a two vehicle accident on a snow covered roadway.

   The Minnesota State Patrol said the accident happened shortly after 10 Wednesday (this) morning on Highway 86, north of Lakefield.  A 2000 Ford Ranger, driven by 38-year old Brandon Davis of Spirit Lake was southbound, when it was struck from behind by a southbound 1997 Chevy Lumina, driven by  20-year old June Omwega of Windom. 

   Davis, Omwega and a passenger in the Lumina, 37-year old Kelly Knuth of Windom all received minor injuries, and were transported to the Windom Hospital by Ambulance.

  The Lakefield Police, along with Lakefield Ambulance, and Lakefield Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
