Des Moines, IA (KICD)--A number of local citizens have been appointed to fill terms on a number of Iowa boards and commissions by Governor Branstad
Clay County Sheriff Randy Krukow tells KICD News that this is his 3rd appointment to the Law Enforcement Academy Council.
Clay County Auditor Marge Pitts will serve on the Mental Health Risk Pool Board. Craig Cretsinger of Spencer was tabbed for the Prevention of Disabilities Policy Council. Joanne Stockdale of Okoboji was named to the Environmental Protection Commission. Susan Vance Hjelm of Lake Park was appointed to the State Soil Conservation Committee. Mark Murphy of Cherokee was asked to serve on the Vision Iowa Board. Jeffrey Hayes of Cherokee will sit on the Credit Union Review Board. Larry Den Herder of Sioux Center was named to the Economic Development Authority and Curtis Sindergard of Rolfe was tabbed for the Iowa Grain Indemnity Fund Board.
