Storm Outlook



Spencer, IA (KICD) -- An uneventful winter season, is going to receive a big change.

Northwest Iowa has not seen much for snowfall and extreme winter conditions this winter. However, the first of two low pressure systems is affecting the broadcast area today into Friday.   Marc Chenard with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls gives KICD News the current projections are for the broadcast area.

The good news Chenard says, is there will not be any ice with this system...

After the low pressure passes, quiet weather will be the trend, but not for long, as Chenard says a second low pressure system will be working into the upper midwest at the end of the weekend.

 
If travel has to be done use extreme care and caution, and allow extra time to make the trip.
