The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said on Thursday, that an investigation led to a search warrant being executed by their deputies at a rural Ashton home. At that time, 41-year-old Daryl Gene VanOort was arrested at the home on two Lyon County warrants. He was charged with Possession of a Firearm When Prohibited , a class D felony, and Assault.
