Walleye Season Closing

Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)--A note for area fisherman.

The walleye season at Iowa’s Great Lakes closes on Friday and reopens at 12:00 a.m., May 4th. Walleyes caught during the closed season at East Okoboji, West Okoboji and Big Spirit lakes must be immediately released unharmed.
