Emmet Recorder Resignation



Estherville, IA (KICD)--Emmet County's longtime Recorder is set to resign from her post this April.

Sue Snyder tells KICD News that after years 29 years in the Recorder's office and the last 16 as Recorder she is moving on to network marketing.

Emmet County Auditor Mikki Erickson says the process of coming up with a replacement will be decided by the board of Supervisors to either appoint or schedule a special election. That decision cannot be made until after Snyder's official resignation date of April 29th.

At this juncture the board has indicated unanimous support to hold a special election. The earliest date for the election is June 4th.
