Chamber Executive Director Bill Campbell tells KICD News that the "Spencer Experience" delves into all areas of the inner workings of the city.
A class or individual project is also a popular piece of the course which in the past has included attending city functions, volunteering at a community agency or working as a group on ways to improve the quality of life we all enjoy in Spencer. Campbell says this year's project is being kept secret.
Leadership Spencer is a 10-week course beginning Monday, March 4th and continues each Monday through May 6th. Classes are held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at various locations throughout the city. The fee for the 10 week course is $180 with class size limited to 20. To register or for more information call the Spencer Chamber office at 712-262-5680.
