Washington D.C. (KICD)--For the first time in history a group of citizen co-chairs were selected to attend the Presidential inaugural parade and inaugural ball.
One of the 8 people selected for this honor was Rob Hach of Alta, who serves as president of Anemometry Specialists, a company that builds testing equipment for wind energy farms.
Hach says the multi day trip began with a visit last Friday to the oval office, along with his wife Tara, to meet with President Obama.
Hach, who is a lifelong Republican, says Obama demonstrated bipartisanship by extending this invitation.
Road and his wife, Tara, started Anemometry Specialists 10 years ago and has been involved in the wind energy business since 1994. Anemometry Specialists was named the Iowa Small Business of the Year in 2010.
