Peterson, IA (KICD) -- A Peterson man is charged after a traffic stop.
Around 11:50 Sunday night, a Clay County Deputy stopped a vehicle in Peterson, recognizing the driver as 38-year old Michael Lindgren. The deputy knew Lindgren had a suspended license. Lindgren was arrested. Upon a search of his vehicle, a small quantity of methamphetamine was located. Lindgren was transported to the Clay County Jail w/o incident.
Lindgren was charged with Driving Under Suspension, and 2nd Offense Possession of a Controlled Substance.
