Hach Citizen Co Chair
Washington, DC (KICD) -- An long-time Republican voter who works in the Iowa wind energy industry has been selected as a “citizen co-chair” for President Barack Obama’s inauguration.
The Des Moines Register website reports Rob (hawk)Hach of Alta was selected as one of Obama’s eight co-chairs, inauguration organizers announced Thursday morning. On Monday, the Iowan will ride on a float in the inaugural parade and will attend an inaugural ball.
Hach is the president of Anemometry Specialists, a company that builds testing equipment for wind energy farms. He and his wife, Tara, started the small business 10 years ago.
Rob has been involved in the wind energy business since 1994, Rob has grown his business over this past decade and now has 31 employees. Anemometry Specialists was named the Iowa Small Business of the Year in 2010.”
