Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) -- An Okoboji man is jailed on drug charges after a traffic stop.

The Dickinson County Sheriffs Office says a deputy made a traffic stop January 6th near the intersection of Highway 71 and 34th Street, in Spirit Lake. The Dickinson County K-9 reacted to the vehicle, and a search turned up a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

As a result, 39-year old Ryan R Dykstra was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was booked into the Dickinson County Jail, and later released on a $1000 bond.
