Comm Center Progress

Spencer, IA (KICD)--The process of moving the Clay County Communications Center to the operations center of Spencer Municipal Utilities is moving forward.

Board Chair Ken Challstrom tells KICD News that Canon Moss & Brygger will serve as the architect for the move pending action at the next Spencer City Council meeting.

Challstrom says the next step in the process is to find interested parties to serve as a construction manager.

The hope is to come up with at least three proposals to sift through by the end of February.

Alpha Wireless expressed a willingness to provide technical support for the project.
