Germantown Burglaries



Germantown, IA (KICD) -- Authorities are asking for help in solving a pair of burglaries to a Germantown business.

   The O'Brien County Sheriff's Office is investigating the two burglaries at "The Hideout", a bar and restaurant in Germantown.  The business was broken into during the early morning hours of December 23rd and again during the early morning hours of January 3rd.

   An undisclosed amount of cash was taken in each of the burglaries. The Crime Dusters program is offering a $300 reward to anyone who provides information on these crimes that leads to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.

  Anyone with information on these crimes is asked to call the O'Brien County Sheriff's Office at 712-757-3415. Upon calling you will be put in contact with a deputy sheriff that will take your information. People can also provide information or tips on crimes by using the "Hot Tip" link or "e-mail" button on the O'Brien County Sheriff's Office website of www.obriencountysheriff.com. Arrangements can be made to assist the people who want to remain anonymous but still be eligible for the reward.
