Car Into Train

   Spencer Police said around 6:32-pm Monday, a 2002 Ford pickup, driven by 42-year old Jason Adams was northbound in the 600 block of 4th Avenue east, when he struck a train that was stopped at the intersection

  The train car received approximately $10,000 in damages, while the pickup received approximately $8000 in damages.  Adams was charged with OWI, and was booked into the Clay County Jail.

There were no injuries as a result of the mishap.
