Country star Charlie Daniels is recovering after undergoing surgery on Monday.
The "Devil Went Down to Georgia" hitmaker checked into hospital for an operation on his rotator cuff, a group of muscles and tendons which stabilize the shoulder.
A post on his Twitter page reads, "Charlie's rotator cuff surgery went very well! He is in recovery and will be going home soon. Thank you for all the prayers!"
Daniels returned to his account later in the day and added, "Not good at left handed typing but wanted to thank everybody for your prayers, best Twitter mates a man could have. Back full (sic) strength soon."
The surgery isn't the only hospital trip Daniels has endured this year - he underwent a procedure to repair his eyesight in the spring.
