Sibley, IA (KICD)--Two from SIbley have been jailed on drug charges.
On Thursday Osceola County Deputies were assisted by Iowa State Patrol during a search warrant at 708 3rd Avenue in Sibley. Following the search 27-year-old Collette Fredrick and 36-year-old Julius Kracke were each charged with a class C felony count of Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to deliver, Possession of Marijuana 2nd offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Child Endangerment, and Prohibited Acts.

Fredrick and Kracke are each being held at the Osceola County Jail on a $16,300 bond.

Maurice, IA (KICD)--A Wednesday afternoon OWI accident near Maurice leads to a number of charges against a Sioux Center man.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Juan Hernandez-Martinez was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on Highway 75 when he lost control, entered the west ditch, and rolled.

Hernandez-Martinez was transported to the Sioux Center Hospital by the Sioux Center Ambulance where he was treated for minor injuries and released. Following his release, Hernandez-Martinez was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, failure to maintain control and driving without a driver’s license.

Maurice Fire and Rescue assisted on scene.

The accident took place at approximately 4:20 Wednesday.

Hull, IA (KICD)--Two sustain minor injures following a Thursday morning collision .

The Sioux County Sheriff's Office says 34-year-old Candido Miranda of Sheldon was driving a 2002 Ford Focus eastbound on 370th Street, eight miles southeast of Hull ; he then stopped for the stop sign at Jackson Avenue. 28-year-old Tessa DeWit of Boyden was driving a 2008 Honda CRV southbound on Jackson and struck DeWit’s vehicle in the
intersection.Candido and DeWit each reported minor injuries and both refused medical treatment.

Candido was cited for failing to yield from a stop sign and operating a vehicle without a valid driver's license.
