Jackson Theft



 Jackson, MN (KICD) -- A Jackson man faces multiple theft charges

   The Jackson County Sheriffs Department says 36-year old Greg Sauter was arrested Thursday, on charges of Theft, Theft by Swindle, and Theft Temporary Control, all felonies. 

The charges arose after the Sheriffs Department was notified of an alleged possible funds embezzlement from the Family Dollar Store in Jackson.  Sauter was a manager at the store, at the time.

  After investigation, Sauter admitted to authorities, that he had taken approximately $4500 from deposits to be made by Family Dollar Store.  The thefts occurred between September 1st and November 13th.

Sauter did appear in court Friday and was released on his own recognizance.
