Iowa Venture Awards



West Des Moines, IA (KICD)--An Iowa Venture Award has been received by DuPont Pioneer for their new distribution center in the Green Industrial Center in Spencer.

The over 200,000 square foot facility began operations nearly one month ago and is the first tenant ot the Green Industrial Center. Nine distinguished Iowa companies received Iowa Venture Awards through the Iowa Area Development Group, on behalf of Iowa’s rural electric cooperatives and member municipal electric systems. Also from the region, Murphy-Brown of Algona - a livestock production subsidiary of Smithfield Foods - was recognized with an Iowa Venture Award.

The Iowa Venture Award business recognition program began in 1988 and over the past 25 years has honored over 200 of Iowa’s most accomplished business leaders and companies.
