Worthington Stalker

Worthington, MN (KICD) -- A Worthington woman has charges filed against her in District court.

Charges were filed in Nobles County District Court this week against 33-year old Lindsey Piper, who's accused of felony-level stalking and terroristic threats.

The complaint filed says Piper had been previously convicted on charges of trespassing and violating a protection order, by making several calls to her ex-husband, with one of the messages warning him to "watch his back".  The message further allegedly stated she was going to have another man get him.

When authorities went to her residence to talk to Piper, she was allegedly intoxicated, and showing symptoms of being under the influence of methamphetamine.  Piper resisted arrest and was also charged with obstructing the legal process.

Bond was set in the amount of $5,000 with conditions to follow, including no contact with the victim and no alcohol or controlled substance use.

Piper's next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 3rd.
