The Minnesota State Patrol says the accident occurred around 6:25 this morning, on Interstate 90 near Welcome. An eastbound 2011 Chevy Tahoe, driven by 50-year old Joanna Sandberg, of Welcome was passing a 2006 Peterbilt, driven by 75-year old Harlon Boer, of Sioux Center, when the semi pulled to the left striking the Tahoe in the rear.
Both vehicles entered the ditch after the collision, and the Tahoe then rolled over. Both drivers were treated for injuries and released.
The Martin County Sheriffs Office assisted at the scene.
