The Dickinson County Sheriffs Office says the traffic stop was made Sunday, in the 2000 block of M-27. At that time, 22-year old Matthew Galvin, of Lake Park was arrested for OWI.
A search of the vehicle turned up plant material, believed to be marijuana, along with drug paraphernalia and open containers. As a result, Galvin and two passengers, 29-year old Benjamin Irmiter of Hartley, and 24-year old Nicholas Joens of Harris were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Galvin and Irmiter were also charged with Open Container, and Galvin also received an Excessive Speed charge.
All were booked into the Dickinson County Jail, and later, were released after Galvin posted a $2000 bond, and Irmiter and Joens each posted a $1000 bond
