A search of 27-year-old Judd Ferguson's vehicle turned up a plant material believed to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Charges on file include possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense and drug paraphernalia, failure to obey a stop sign, and failure to prove security against liability .
Ferguson was booked into Dickinson County Jail and later released on $2,000 bond.
Milford Police, a drug recognition expert from Spencer police, and the Dickinson County K-9 assisted on scene.
Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--A Wednesday afternoon traffic stop leads to drug charges against a Minnesota man.
Storm Lake Police say after stopping 18-year-old Tyler Merritt of Marshall the notice the odor of pot. A small amount of the drug was found in Merritt's possession along with drug paraphernalia.
After investigation Merritt was booked into Buena Vista County jail on possession charges of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,000 cash.
