Plagge ABA Board Chair-Elect



Arnolds Park, IA (KICD)-An area banker is in line to chair the American Bankers Association Board.

As previously noted on KICD News President and CEO of Northwest Financial Corporation Jeff Plagge will fill this role.

Plagge says that polling shows many have a negative outlook on the banking industry. The exception on that front is community banks.

Moving forward Plagge believes the focus need to be on the "clean up of the last four years."

Plagge says the banking industry will also have to deal with an ever changing way of doing business.

The American Bankers Association represents banks of all sizes and charters and is a respected voice for the nation’s $13 trillion banking industry and its two million employees.
