The Clay County Sheriffs Office received the complaint Thursday, from a private citizen stating they had two personal checks stolen and cashed at the Farmers Savings Bank in Fostoria.
The victim said they believed it was 27-year old Tabetha Wilson, that had taken the checks. Upon further investigation, it was determined that Wilson had taken the checks and forged the victims' name on them. She then cashed the checks for a total of $10,000.
Wilson was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Theft and Forgery, both Class D Felonies. Wilson was held on a $5000 bond.
