Rock Rapids, IA (KICD) -- Fire destroys a shed in Rock Rapids.
The Rock Rapids Fire Department was called out at 4:45 Wednesday morning to a shed on fire, on a lot on South Tama Street.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered the two story 12 x 14 shed with flames coming out of it. Firefighters had to use foam to douse some tires in the shed that were burning.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, and there were no injuries. The structure is considered to be a total loss. The house on the lot is currently unoccupied, but is owned by Saengchanh Phayiset.
Firefighters were on the scene for about 45 minutes.
