Railroad Crossing Mishap

Dickens, IA (KICD) -- A Spencer man faces possible charges after driving his vehicle into a railroad crossing arm.

The Clay County Sheriffs Office says the accident happened Tuesday, one mile west of Dickens on M-54.  25-year old Nathan Tesch was driving a 1998 Honda automobile, when he lost control, colliding with a railroad crossing arm.

The crossing arm received an estimated $5000 in damage, while the Honda was totalled in the mishap.  Tesch was not injured in the crash, but charges are pending, as a result of the crash.
