The Clay County Sheriffs Office says the accident occurred October 29th, in the 3100 mile of 270th Avenue. A 2004 Ford F-150, driven by 24-year old Jonathon Donovan was northbound, when he encountered a deer on the roadway.
Donovan swerved to miss the deer, losing control of the vehicle and entering the west ditch. The Ford then struck a field drive, causing it to roll and come to rest on it's top.
Donovan received minor bumps and bruises as a result of the accident. The pickup received approximately $12,000 in damages.
