Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--A litany of drug charges are filed following a Thursday evening traffic stop by Storm Lake Police.
Upon contacting the driver, 20-year-old Amanda Lee of Sioux City, police allege they determined that she had in her possession medications requiring a prescription however she did not have the necessary prescription.
A passenger, 21-year-old Dallas Wilde of Sioux City, allegedly had an open container of alcohol in his possession. In addition police allege Wilde was in possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and six different prescription medications which were not prescribed to him.
Upon impounding the vehicle police report they located and seized an additional quantity of marijuana from the vehicle.
Following an investigation Storm Lake Police charged Lee with possession of Methadone, Hydrocodone, Xanex, Hydroxyzine, and two class D felony counts of a Drug Tax Stamp Violation. She was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $14,000 cash bond.
Wilde was charged with possession of Methadone, Hydrocodone, Xanex, 3 different strengths of Morphine, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia. He was also cited for having an open container. Wilde was booked into the county jail on a $7,600 cash bond.
