Storm Lake, IA (KICD) -- An Aurelia man is arrested after a call about a person acting suspicious.
Storm Lake Police were dispatched shortly after 2-am Thursday morning, in reference to a person acting in a suspiciuos manner on West Lakeshore Drive.
Upon arrival, police observed 23-year old Jared Bruce, walking and carrying a flag pole, a lawn ornament, and had a life preserver around his neck.
Police made contact with Bruce and allege that he was intoxicated and that the items he was carrying had been stolen from lawns along his route of travel.
Police arrested Bruce and charged him with Public Intoxication and 5th Degree Theft. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $600 cash bond.
