IEDA Financial Assistance



Des Moines, IA (KICD)--Two northwest Iowa companies are among six chosen to receive financial assistance by the The Iowa Economic Development Authority

Tina Hoffman with the IEDA tells KICD News that Interstates Companies, based in Sioux Center was awarded $225,000 in direct financial assistance towards the purchase of a facility.

The company is planning to purchase a facility, remodel the structure and move existing operations to this building in an effort to accommodate growth and expand the services offered.

Hoffman adds that Iowa Drying and Processing of Sibley was awarded $150,000 in direct financial assistance to lease and renovate a vacant facility and procure equipment.

Iowa Drying and Processing is a start-up company who will be serving a number of customers who produce and distribute food and animal feeds and the ingredients used to make them.
