Spencer, IA (KICD)--An additional murder charge has been filed in connection to the fatal beating of a Spencer man.

Spencer Police say 21-year-old Cody Millard of Spencer was arrested Thursday at his place of employment by the Dickinson County Sheriff on a charge of Murder in the 1st Degree.  The charge stems from an incident where 59-year old Edward Kitto was found beaten and unresponsive in the backyard of a Spencer home August 27th. Kitto died two weeks later at a Sioux Falls Hospital.  Millard is being held on $250,000 bond.

21-year old Christopher Fitzpatrick has pleaded not guilty on charges of first degree murder, first degree robbery, and willful injury in relation to this investigation.

An Arnolds Park man is seriously injured in a Sunday evening Dickinson County mishap.  27-year-old Jake Huse lost control and rolled his Harley.  Huse's head struck the ground and he was not wearing a helmet.  He was drinking prior to the accident.

and a wanted man is apprehended in St. Paul.  50-year-old Sylvester Simon is accused of sexually assaulted a 4 year old child in Storm Lake in 2009.  He is charged with a class B felony count of 2nd degree sex abuse.
