Spencer, IA (KICD) -- A Spencer man receives minor injuries and is charged after a two vehicle accident.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office says 54-year old Brad Burginger was driving a 1995 Mercury Sable eastbound on Highway 18, and attempted to make a left turn into a residence at 2520 Highway 18.

Burginger failed to yield to a westbound 1999 Chevy K-3500 truck, driven by 19-year old Micah Partlow of Spencer.  The pickup then struck the Mercury in the passenger side.  As a result, the Mercury spun around, coming to rest on the north shoulder facing south, while the pickup came to rest facing east on the north shoulder.
