Slash tired of talking about seeing David Bowie naked with mom

Slash is beginning to wish he had never opened up about his encounter with his naked mom and her one-time lover David Bowie - because the childhood confession has become a major story the rocker is tired of talking about.

Last month, the former Guns N' Roses guitarist told an Australian radio station he once caught the couple naked when he was about eight - and now every interviewer wants to know more.

He says, "That was a very casual conversation with somebody on the phone in Australia that I had no idea was going to get blown up. It became this big headline and it was very awkward."

"I'm embarrassed because I'm sure David didn't appreciate it... And my mom, rest in peace, probably wouldn't have dug it either."

"They dated for awhile, which is common knowledge. All I said was there was one occasion where I happened to walk into the bedroom when they weren't fully dressed... That was it. It wasn't anything more lewd than that. End of story."
