CCF Wrap With Parsons

Spencer, IA (KICD)--The 2012 Clay County Fair has officially wrapped up.

Sunday's attendance of 20,166 puts the 9-day figure at 318,965. This would make 2012 the 4th most attended fair in history. Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons tells KICD News that he is "thrilled with how the past 9 days" went.

Parsons says he noticed many more young families and people enjoying the fair.

Parsons would like to do a comprehensive evaluation before making any plans for next year.

Parsons was amazed at the effort put forth by community volunteers for the fair.

The 2013 Clay County Fair takes place September 7th through the 15th.
