Spencer E-Book Offernings

Spencer, IA (KICD)--The Spencer Library is expanding its e-book offerings.

Library Director Mandie Roberts tells KICD News they are now offering up a new program.

Roberts says they will build up the collection with a target of popular titles and e-book exclusives.

This move was neccessary in part due to a recent decision by WILBOR to restrict access somewhat.

According to the Iowa Library Association 58 percent of library patrons are unaware of the e-book offerings.

The Spencer Library will continue to look at additional ways to offer up free e-books to patrons in the future.
