Spencer, IA (KICD)--Today is Kids Day at the Clay County Fair with free admission to all 18 and under and $2 carnival rides.
It is also 4-H Family Day with activities, displays and demonstrations taking place in Central Park from 9-8. A demonstration by the name of 4-H Robotics kicks things off at 9:00 at the Central Park stage.
Thursday's attendance of 25,216 puts the 6-day mark at 198.477.
The GoldStar Amusements Midway opens at 10:00 a.m. The Parade of New Tractors gets underway at 11:00.
The Kid's Got Talent shows will take place in the 4-H auditorium with grades 4 and 5 at 1:00 and grades 6-8 at 2:30. Registration for both starts a half hour prior to show time.
The free acts have turned over for the final three days of the fair. Featured acts at the Northwest Bank Stage include Jared Sherlock at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m, with Six Appeal at 11:30, 2:30, and 5:30. The Farmers Bank Stage features the Heebie Jeebies at 10:30, 1:30, and 4:30 and the Wild Spirit Band at noon, 3:00, and 6:00.
Strongwoman Mama Lou will perform at the US Cellular Plaza at 11:00, 1:30, and 5:00.
Mobile marketing exhibits will be on display all day long north of the Events Center.
The Aussie Kingdom has shows at 11:00, 2:00, and 5:00 and are located north of Gate A.
Wildlife Wendy & Her Tropical Birds will be North of The Depot building at 12:30, 3:30, and 5:30.
The 6th Annual Arnold Motor Supply Shootout featuring the World of Outlaws is tonight's featured Grandstand entertainment at 6:45.
