Spencer, IA (KICD)--Today is Iowa Corn Day at the Clay County Fair with activities, displays and demonstrations throughout the day and evening in Central Park.
Tuesday's gate attendance of 15,624 brings the 4-day mark to 158,035. Prognosticators may take note that the all time record is 327,937 from last year.
The 4-H/FFA Dog Show will take place at 9:00 in the Indoor Arena. The Parade of Classic Tractors will start at 11:00 a.m.
The GoldStar Amusements Midway opens at 3:00 with a special of 10 Rides for $15.
Mama Lou will make her first appearance at the fair at the U.S. Cellular Plaza at 11:00 a.m. Vocalist Bob Pettit of Ruthven will perform at 4:00 in the 4-H Auditorium.
Featured acts at the Northwest Bank Stage include the Loony Lutherans at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. with Bob & the Beachcombers performing at 11:30, 2:30, and 5:30.
The Awesome Ag show takes place at 10:00, noon, 2:00, and 4:00 at the Ag Learning Center.
Featured acts at the Farmers Bank Stage include Sean Emery at 10:30, 1:30, and 4:30 and Marv Nissel Polka at noon, 3:00, and 6:00.
Mobile marketing exhibits will be on display all day long north of the Events Center.
