Spencer, IA (CCF)--Enjoy the 2012 Clay County Fair before it officially opens with the Fantastic Friday Preview on Friday, September 7 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

“For those fairgoers who can’t wait until Saturday to enjoy fair food and the midway, we want to give them a chance to get a sneak peek,” said CCF Manager Jeremy Parsons. 
The Clay County Fair Midway will be the highlight of Fantastic Friday Preview with rides operating all evening for only $2 per ride. GoldStar Amusements will feature rides such as the Super Shot, Ring of Fire and Pharaoh’s Fury.

In addition, a VIP Carnival Wristband can be purchased for all nine days of the Fair plus the Fantastic Friday Preview. The VIP Wristband will be good for the rides on the midway including the Giant Yellow Slide.

US Cellular will have their mobile marketing unit open with fun and interactive games and activities.  Many food stands near the Midway and Clay County Regional Events Center will be open for business.

Admission for the Fantastic Friday Preview will be free and the entrance will be at the North Gate.
