Carly Rae Jepson splits from boy that inspired 'Call Me Maybe'

Pop star Carly Rae Jepson has split from the boyfriend who reportedly inspired her megahit "Call Me Maybe."

The Canadian singer cooed about her romance with architecture student Jordi Ashworth earlier this year when she told Us Weekly magazine he was "an amazing guy."

However, it seems the 26-year-old has moved on and found new love with musician Matthew Koma, who made it clear he was Jepsen's boyfriend backstage at the Summer MixTape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania on Aug. 18.

A source tells UsMagazine.com, "Carly broke up with Jordi in June because her schedule got crazy."

She and Koma were reportedly introduced by LMFAO star Redfoo.

Meanwhile, Jepsen's summer smash prompted a flashmob at the Arthur Ashe Kids' Day festival in New York over the weekend.

As she performed at the 17th annual pre-U.S. Open bash, famous faces like The Wanted, Owl City, Matthew Morrison and Olympic swimming star Missy Franklin joined her on the court.

She tells Entertainment Tonight, "It was kind of like a crazy zoo. They had jugglers, a marching band, my band, The Wanted, Owl City and they all came and we had a flashmob."
