Spencer, IA (KICD) -- The Highway 71 project has reached it's half way point.

With the completion of the southbound lanes of Highway 71, the Iowa DOT on Monday has switched the traffic flow from the northbound lanes to the southbound lanes, Tony Babcock is with the Iowa DOT. He says with the change is a learning lesson again for motorists, especially the
east-west bound drivers...



Babcock says along with the traffic lane changes, the DOT has done another change...



Babcock reminds all of the numerous accidents that occurred at the north Y when the project started, and that those can be greatly reduced by paying attention.
