On Thursday, the O'Brien County Sheriffs Office received a theft report of tools and gasoline missing from a rural residence at 6626 360th Street in Hartley. The tools were valued at approximately $300.
Then, on Sunday, the Sheriffs Office received a second theft report of tools taken near 6465 380th Street in Hartley. That burglary occurred sometime between 6-pm August 8th and 4:21-pm August 10th. Entry was gained through a walk in door. The value of the stolen tools is unknown.
The investigation continues in both incidents.
