Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus is a dad again



Rascal Flatts star Jay DeMarcus is celebrating after becoming a father for the second time.

The bassist was in Detroit, Michigan for a concert on Friday but jetted to Nashville just in time to see his son Dylan Jay's birth.

A spokesperson tells People.com the baby and mom Allison are "doing well in a local hospital."

DeMarcus also took to Twitter to confirm the happy news, writing, "Thanks everyone for all the well wishes!! Dylan Jay was born yesterday at 4:02pm. He's gorgeous, just like his dad."

The new arrival joins big sister Madeline Leigh, who was born in December 2010.
