Storm Lake, IA (KICD)--A possible heart failure is deemed the cause of death for a man pulled from Storm Lake Friday evening.

The Buena Vista County Sheriff's Office says preliminary autopsy results indicate that drowning was not a factor in the death of 64-year-old Steve McCullough of Storm Lake.  It was determined that McCullough did not know how to swim and would not have jumped into the water.  It was only seconds after witnesses heard a splash in the water before finding McCullough floating and unresponsive.
